That is such a funny way to fail. If you know you're doing horribly and no matter what grade you get on the final, you'll still fail, then this is the way to do it.
And I love Fate/Stay Night. Very well done!

I was just afraid that without knowledge of the reference, the joke here would go over most people's heads. I can't exactly trust absolutely everyone to get it, hence my reluctance. I knew what it meant beforehand, but it still isn't easy to get.

Thanks for explaining.

I understand!
This is a reference to an anime called "Fate Stay/Night", in which an character called Archer says something along these lines. The writer has replaced his some of his words to refer to his essay, instead of the original theme of blades.

I was debating for a long time when I found this one over whether to post it here or not. My main concern is that very few of the type of people who would visit this page regularly visit this page will understand the reference, as it is far more...
I was debating for a long time when I found this one over whether to post it here or not. My main concern is that very few of the type of people who would visit this page regularly visit this page will understand the reference, as it is far more convoluted and esoteric than normal. As such, the tone of this item is starkly different than the majority of submissions here. Unlike other items in this album, without the knowledge of the pretext here, the humor may be entirely lost. I chose in the end to leave the readers on the curb for this one and hope for the best. Hopefully the visitors have a better sense of humor than I do.
